the best places (according to me) to shop

hello beautiful people,

i'm sure most of you by now can tell that i love shopping. i love thrifting, i love stumbling down walnut street on a day off and going into every store, and i love learning about designer clothes.

over the past year (thanks to the help of my wonderful boyfriend) i've really been diving into learning about the fashion world and finding some really cool places to get some of the best looks you could ever want.

so i figured i would share some of my favorites with you!!

1. Oak and Fort

I feel like Oak and Fort is the post-grad Madewell. It's super chic, but everything is so comfy. They have some of the nicest handbags ever. (yes, Zach and I have matching tote bags from O+F, what about it) And everything is super lush/tan. I'd go here for a nice day-time date outfit or weekend brunch look.

2. APC

ONE OF MY FAVS. This brand is definitely a bit more up there in price, but I really love everything they make. They have a lot of great statement graphic tee's and accessories that are to die for. They're super minimal and all of their products are really trendy. It feels like New York City on a chill night in one of their hoodies. All of the pieces are super versatile and casual, which makes up for the price of them because you can get a lot of wear out of them!

3. Kith

If you've ever wanted to purchase a pair of biker shorts, here's the place to go. Kith is basically cheating, because it's a brand that compiles a lot of other amazing brands in one store. (Seriously, if you ever have a chance to go to Kith in NYC it's amazing.) However, they also have their own brand that is super cool. There's a lot of dirt biker inspiration here which is really different. Definitely go here to snatch a look if you have a big night at Woody's planned.

4. Scotch & Soda

This place is underrated as hell. If you're a sucker for patterns, silk polos, and velvet you've definitely hit the jackpot. There's actually a store right on Walnut Street that I stumbled into one day and absolutely fell in love. There's so many statement items and I would recommend trying here if you have a fancier event or need to spiffy up. Depending on what you get it could get pricey, but they have great sales that I've found a few steal items at!

Those are some of my favorites for now! Have you shopped at any of these places/what are your favorite places to shop? Let us know!

xoxo

Where are the queers??

Since coming out as polyamorous when I was fifteen, I have always felt an extreme lack of resources for non traditional relationships....
