Hello. I am a person who has been taking medication for anxiety and depression since the 7th grade. I understand medication is not the answer or preferred method for everyone, but for me, it's an essential part of my life. I have been shamed before for taking medication by people. They say things like " I don't support it" or "you should be able to control your own happiness". I would just like to say fuck that noise! Do what ever makes your mental health most manageable for you and you only! If medication works for you, amazing. If therapy works for you, awesome. If spiritual practice work for you, right on...ETC ETC ETC. No shame in the mental health game!!!!

LOVE THIS,
I've been on anti-depressants for over a year now and they completely changed my life! Having the tools, whatever those may be, to propel you on a journey of healing and re-aligning the way we think is so so important. Do whatever makes you feel healthy and happy!
xoxo
